The Washington State Potato Commission and WSU Extension will host a discussion via Zoom for growers to address ways to minimize COVID-19 spread among workers during potato harvest, packing, and other operations.
The discussion will feature: David Conley, Consultation Manager from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries; Faith Critzer, WSU Associate Professor and Produce Safety Extension Specialist; and Marcin Topolewski, Director of Food Safety and Compliance for Basin Gold. Matthew Blua, WSPC Director of Industry Outreach, and Tim Waters and Carrie Wohleb, WSU Regional Extension Specialists will help to moderate the discussion.
