COVID-19 has changed and wrecked many plans this summer, and now the virus has caused the cancellation of the Ag World Golf Classic in Kennewick, Wash.
The August 13 date in Moses Lake, Wash. is still happening, though.
Last year, the tournament raised over $100,000 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Inland Northwest.
All proceeds from the tournament this year will again support Ronald McDonald House Charities which provides a “home away from home” to families with children being treated for serious, often life-threatening conditions at local hospitals.
Ag World spokeperson Melanie Finch stated, “Our goal is to still have the agriculture community come together to raise support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Inland Northwest.”
“As such, we gratefully continue to accept golfers and sponsors. Regardless of what happens, we hope to be able to continue to give a significant amount to the House.”
“We hope you’ll join us in support of the House and in honor of Warren Henninger’s legacy. On behalf of Warren, we send our deep gratitude for your continued support.”
