U.S. Potato Imports Up

Total Potato imports were up 10% in volume and 12% value for the July – September 2018 quarter compared to 2017. The largest increase was for fresh potatoes up 32% to 77,507 metric tons. Dehydrated potatoes were up 9% to 18,161 MT while frozen products increased 5% to 253,599 MT.
