NOTICE OF MEETING TO NOMINATE A DISTRICT 1 GROWER MEMBER OF THE IDAHO POTATO COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., nominations for one District No. 1 grower member of the Idaho Potato Commission will be held at the Idaho Potato Commission office in Idaho Falls, 3670 S. 25th E., Suite 3, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. There will be a conference call/video available at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85205981488. The term “grower” means one who is actively engaged in the growing of potatoes on five (5) or more acres in the state of Idaho, and who does not provide the primary management to a shipping or processing operation. Nominations for a District No. 1 grower member of the Idaho Potato Commission may be made by qualified growers residing in District No. 1, consisting of the counties of Oneida, Franklin, Bear Lake, Caribou, Bannock, Power, Bingham, Bonneville, Teton, Madison, Jefferson, Fremont, Clark, Butte, Custer, and Lemhi. The growers may nominate three qualified individuals for the vacancy from which one will be appointed to the Commission by Governor Brad Little.
NOTICE OF MEETING TO NOMINATE A SHIPPER MEMBER OF THE IDAHO POTATO COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. nominations for one shipper member of the Idaho Potato Commission will be held at the Idaho Potato Commission office in Idaho Falls, 3670 S. 25th E., Suite 3, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. There will be a conference call/video available at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85205981488. The term “shipper” means and includes one who is properly licensed under federal and state laws, actively engaged in the packing and shipping of potatoes in the primary channel of trade in interstate commerce in the state of Idaho, who does not provide the primary management to a growing or processing operation, and who ships more than he produces. The shippers may nominate three qualified individuals for the vacancy from which one will be appointed to the Commission by Governor Brad Little.
NOTICE OF MEETING TO NOMINATE A PROCESSOR MEMBER OF THE IDAHO POTATO COMMISSION
Notice is hereby given that on Friday, March 29, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. nominations for one processor member of the Idaho Potato Commission will be held at the Idaho Potato Commission office in Idaho Falls, 3670 S. 25th E., Suite 3, Idaho Falls, ID 83404. There will be a conference call/video available at the following link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85205981488. The term “processor” means a person who is actively engaged in the processing of potatoes in the state of Idaho for human consumption. The processors may nominate three qualified individuals for the vacancy from which one will be appointed to the Commission by Governor Brad Little.
