New rules are in place for seed potato growers in Washington state. The Washington Administrative Code (WAC) Isolation District and Quarantine Rule were revised based on a request from the Washington Seed Potato Commission. The changes include expanding the definition of “seed potatoes,” adding requirements for bacterial ring rot testing and a half dozen other amendments.
