The Potato Leadership, Education and Advancement Foundation (Potato LEAF) is seeking nominations of individuals interested in serving on its Board of Directors for three-year terms beginning on Jan. 11, 2024.
Nominations must be submitted by October 30, 2023.
Candidates should be engaged in the U.S. potato industry and have board-level experience with non-profit organizations. Additionally, nominees should have a desire to strategically enhance the foundation’s fundraising strategy and establish a comprehensive leadership development plan to advance the U.S. potato industry.
Current programs of the foundation include the Potato Industry Leadership Institute, a $10,000 graduate-level academic scholarship, continuing education opportunities for industry leaders and networking opportunities at Potato Expo.
