The Idaho Potato Commission is holding a special nomination meeting for the grower seat in District 2A. Since the March 2023 nomination meeting, two of the three original nominees withdrew their names from consideration due to unforeseen circumstances. Idaho Code requires three growers to be nominated from which the Governor will appoint one. In consultation with the Governor’s office, a special nomination meeting will be held so that three nominees from District 2A can be presented to the Governor for consideration. See below for meeting information and qualifications.
