McDonald’s in Japan Limiting French Fry Sales

Due to a shortage of potatoes, McDonald’s restaurants in Japan are only selling fries in small size servings. Medium and large orders are unavailable from Dec. 24 to Dec. 30.

According to the company, the supply issues were caused by floods in Canada, a major transit point for shipments, as well as the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on global distribution.
