Various locations around eastern Idaho will host University of Idaho Ag Talk Tuesdays at 8 a.m. on the first and third Tuesdays throughout the growing season.
Everyone is encouraged to attend. The talks are always free, and beverages along with light breakfast fare will be provided.
The talks allow growers and industry members to interact directly with UI researchers, extension personnel and agriculture professionals and learn about timely topics in crop production.
Topics may include issues facing small grains and potato production (stand establishment, pest/disease/weed management, fertility recommendations, harvest approaches, weather-related damage, plant disease forecasting), rotation crops, cover crops, water issues, vole management, green manures, marketing information, and more.
