Produce packaging and and equipment supplier Volm Companies, Inc. has expanded its operations in Colorado with the acquisition of Atech, Inc. in Monte Vista, Colorado.
Volm, headquartered in Wisconsin, will occupy Atech’s 7,200-square-foot warehouse. Volm plans to make improvements at the location to better serve its customers in the San Luis Valley area, as well as provide a regional hub to serve customers in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.
In the past, Atech has represented the Volmpack line of equipment with a local sales-and-service model and partnered with Volm in the distribution of packaging in the area.
In the last year, Volm also opened new facilities in Pasco, Washington, as well as in Canada and Mexico.
