In February 2008 we had Dan Chin and his daughter on the cover of Potato Country Magazine.
Their story was about the varieties of potatoes that they were growing. As the russet competition was getting steeper, they found that it was more profitable for them to grow many other potatoes. They had changed from mostly russets to mostly non-russets and they were making it work for them.
It still seems to be working as Chin Farms, and Wong Potatoes, Inc. continue to farm to this day.
